New Engagement Makes Jessica Sad

This is so acceptable, but I think Jessica is soo much stronger than this!

Recent news is claiming that Nick Lachey is planning on marrying his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo. It is always hard to hear that your ex has moved on, but getting engaged is a lot harder.

Jessica’s friend explains that “Nick was the love of her life then, man, and he was her first, so she will always have a very special place in her heart for him. She’s deeply saddened.”

But ever since the Split between Nick and Jess she has accomplished so much.

Her time will come! Keep your chin up Jess!

Okay so this is one trend that I think we can all agree is just flat out bizarre, and is reportedly all thanks to the beautiful R&B singer Cassie who is known for her spontaneous and always unique fashion. Cassie explained her new hair do via her twitter page saying:

Sometimes in life, you need a change.

Something deeper than what you thought you were capable of.

Something that displays the “I don’t give a F” attitude that was always present, but never showcased.

…& something that will shock your mother, but make her call you a ROCK STAR….

They ask why?? Lol… B/C I WOKE UP AND FELT LIKE IT!!! YEEEAHHH!!! LOL Have a great weekend!xx

Can we really be that surprised though? Seeing as how she is not the first to rock this half shaved look...Especially when there are those who can actually pull this look off.. Ahem…J*Davey, French stylist/photographer Kristina Girsors, and several other trendsetting individuals out there. I’m sorry to say it, but I think Cassie should grow her hair back out and find another calling! What do you guys think? Are we on board with this new look, or should jump ashore and wait for Cassie to try again?

This era of fashion is always looking and searching for the new hot thing, whether it be large over sized shades, or baggy harem pants inspired by MC Hammer. This decade is obsessed with celebs and their dedicated followers are who are constantly striving to get the latest fashion trends that their favorite celebs have proudly worn on red carpets and in their every day lives. One thing is certain, fashion and celebrity stars are two topics that will never go out of style in relation to the fashion world. These names are what can be said to be the top five style icons who influence & innovate the world of fashion in a big way.
1.)    Amber Rose: Model and former boo of rapper Kanye West, Amber Rose has made a name for herself with her fashion forward buzz cut, ever changing style, and unique eye for what will be hot.
2.)    Rihanna: Pop-star Rihanna is runner up on this fashion list. What is most fascinating about this ever changing pop princess is her uncanny ability to incorporate runway looks with her every day ensemble and make it look chic and trendy. Rihanna is constantly pushing the envelope with her avant-garde looks that scream FASHIONISTA.
3.)    Blake Lively: Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively is always highly noted when it comes down to her ever classy and well put together looks. True GG fans can gladly be thankful for her always polished and meticulously put together outfits.
4.)    Chloë Sevigny: Fashion Designer and high profile actress from the highly popular show,Big Love, is Chloë Sevigny. Her style is forever evolving and her innovative sense never stops to amaze. Her boho style can sometimes come off as too eccentric for the fashion weary, but she always manages to incorporate her own personal flare into every outfit she sports.
5.)    Mary- Kate Olsen: Designer and actress Mary- Kate Olsen plus her twin sister Ashley, have always had their foot in the fashion door from a young age. Their applauded brand, "The Row" has really defined itself in terms of other celeb fashion brands. Mary-Kate Olsen has never shied away from the spotlight, and have always mad them more confident in the fashions and trends they choose to wear. Their fearlessness and fashion provocativeness is always fascinating to watch.

Lady Gaga Outfits We’re Still Talking About

All thanks to her unique style and sassy attitude toward clothes, this pop star has paved the way to sheer fashion exploitation with every fashion choice she makes being closely followed by fashion fanatics all around the world. While it sure wasn't hard to find a wide slew of absurd and crazy out there fashion looks, narrowing down her top and most noted looks was a whole other store.. Boring is not an option when dealing with the notorious Lady Gaga.

For every Gaga fanatic that was grossed out by her eccentric performance of “Paparazzi” at the MTV Music Awards there was multiple fans ready to outbid each other for the remnants of that red liquid on eBay. Just plain weird and creepy!

I'm not quite sure what look Lady Gaga was going for when she pulled this little number out of her closet, but I'm sure the fashion gods are looking at her with confused expressions on their faces. This butterfly and kermit inspired sequined outfit should be put in the very back of her closet, locked up tightly, and never seen again.

When Gaga rocked this full-length red lacey dress, and mask—to accept her MTV Music Award for Best New Artist, I was sitting in front of my TV with my mouth open in complete awe. What I want to know is how did she manage to eat food and drink with her face covered up like that?

Lady Gaga killed two birds with one stone with this outfit, which she wore in order to protest the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy. The weirdest part is that the meat dress was later made into jerky and sold onto Ebay.

Neck brace? Check. Gold eye patch? Check. Pics of her in this "outfit" plastered all over the web and magazines? CHECK, CHECK, CHECK. This Phantom of the Opera themed outfit is one look that makes us all shake our heads and ask, Oh Lady Gaga what were you thinking?

The fall season has officially jumped into gear. With that being said, everyone should look forward to the splurge of fashion trends that have arisen with the new season. As the leaves begin to fall, the weather becomes chillier, and everyone begins to rock their jackets and coats, we begin to notice certain trends that are hot on the market. One of my fav looks for the fall comes in the shape of the always trendy combat boot. Rugged, and tough, yet at the same time, super sexy – women can now have the option to switch up their look with a more edgy style. If you’re someone who tends to lean more toward the casual everyday look, then this is a trend that has your name written all over it, and one look that you may like to start incorporating into your wardrobe! These combat boots come in an assortment of prices, with several designer looks to choose from!

Some eye catching eyes that will be sure to appeal to every age is the MIA Limited Edition “Combat” Ankle boot (Price: $189), which is a shoe created for the shoe enthusiasts searching for modern and embellished looks. Another growing trend is the ever prevalent motorcycle boot. Another look that I completely adore is the Prada Motorcycle Boot (price: $1,100) which is always flying off the shelves at Barneys. But because I am not one to usually splurge or who has $1,100 to blow, I absolutely loves the Chinese Laundry’s Women’s Eagle Eye Motorcycle Boot (price: $179.95).
So if you're working up the courage to sport any of these fashion forward and edgy rugged boots, then you had better jump on the bandwagon and hurry up and run out and get yourself a pair before it's too late! Don’t be timid about incorporating a pair of boots into any outfit!

Taylor and Jake???

New couple?!?!?

Not once but twice were Taylor Swift, 20, and Jake Gyllenhaal, 29, spotted together this weekend in New York. The country singer and actor both attended the live broadcast of “Saturday Night Live”. They showed up together and walked around backstage, but were careful not to be seen too close. On Sunday they were together again, this time in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood. Coincidently this is where Maggie, Jake’s sister lives. The two had brunch then walked around the block together. Is this a good match? Jake better be warned to date Taylor, there might be bad PR if things turn sour.

Bye Bye Whitney

The City is officially canceled. Whitney Port confirmed to Ryan Seacrest on his hit radio show this morning. Although she is sad to see the show coming to an end she is still staying positive. Good for you Whitney that’s the attitude.

Could We Take Vinny Seriously?

With talk of Snookie and Pauly D getting their own spin off shows and Mike “the Situation” already been and got voted off Dancing with the Stars, why would it be surprising that Vinny Guadagnino would want to make it big as a serious actor? Prior to being on Jersey Shore Vinny aspired to be a lawyer, but as usual the taste of fame got in his way. Rumor has it that Vinny will make his first appearance as an actor on the new hit MTV show The Hard Times of RJ Berger. On the show he will be playing RJ’s older and cooler cousin for an episode called “My Cousin Vinny”. Well this might be a little to close at heart for Vinny, his first job as an actor and all Vinny does is act normal. But will this get people to take you as a serious actor?

Tied the Knot

Katy Perry and Russel Brand officially tied the knot this Saturday in India. The ceremony was extravagant. Laxmi and Mala, two elephants, walked down their red carpet during the wedding procession, also known as the "bharat." Rajasthani folk musicians played the traditional wedding music, played using Indian instruments. The couple also had their guests go on crazy safari trips, elegant shopping days, and numerous live performances. This sounds like a dream only a teenager could imagine. No pun intended : )
